The Killian hawk uses G10 handles with a diamond texture. The Eagle Talon has micarta handles, mine is laced with paracord to improve grip. The Killian is shorter, and heavier in the head than the Eagle Talon. However, despite the shorter length, the added weight gave the Killian just as much cutting power as the Eagle Talon.
